The Art of Playing Together Showcase
Workshop Details
The Art of Playing Together Showcase brings together talented high school guitarists from across Albuquerque for a celebration of collaboration, musicianship, and chamber music. Selected guitar duos, trios, and quartets will have the extraordinary opportunity to work with internationally acclaimed Italian guitar duo SoloDuo—Lorenzo Micheli and Matteo Mela—in a day devoted to the art of making music together. The experience culminates in an afternoon showcase featuring these young musicians and the work they have prepared.
Registration for the showcase is due October 12, 2026 and ensembles wishing to be considered for the February showcase must submit an audition video by Friday, December 11 at 5 p.m. Selected ensembles will be announced by Friday, December 18. The Art of Playing Together Showcase will take place at Albuquerque Academy in February 2027 and is free and open to the public.
